What a day we had today in the Eglise des Jésuites! The level of the candidates was extremely high, which made it a difficult day for the Jury but a great day for those of us who were able to watch on.
We would like congratulate the following candidates who have been chosen at the finalists for the inaugural Tibor Junior International Violin Competition:
– Iris Scialom (France)
– Qingzhu Weng (China)
– Arthur Traelnes (Switzerland)
– Masha Lakisova (USA)
Candidates who were not selected to perform in the next round will now join the Youth Jury for the final of the competition on Wednesday evening.
We would also like to thank the Kremerata Baltica Chamber Orchestra for accompanying and supporting each of the candidates.
We can’t wait to see the final performances this Wednesday at 7pm at the Théâtre de Valère!
