Eva Zurbrügg

Born in Bern, Eva Zurbrügg studied violin in her hometown, before attending the Conservatoire National de Paris, the Musik Akademie Basel and winning a brilliant first prize at the Carl Flesch International Competition in London. Her career has since been rich; for a long time she was head of the music department of the Berne University of Music and Theatre, and today she is one of the general experts of the Swiss Universities of Music. Since 2009, she has been a regular member of the jury of major events, such as the “Wieniawski-Lipinski” International Competition or the “Boris Goldstein” Competition.
